Dani Norris is a contemporary abstract artist residing in Las Vegas, Nevada. She uses acrylic paints and utilizes bright colors on canvas. She is passionate about working with all people, inspiring others, and believes in building a strong community. Painting allows her to show others a creative interpretation of the emotions, struggles and wins in life. She aspires to teach and help others with mental wellness and healing through art therapy, and is currently studying for her Art Therapy Certificate.
Dani has worked for the City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department since 2004, and enjoys meeting new people each day! She grew up surrounded by various artists in her family including her mother, grandmother, great grandmother, uncle, cousins and several close friends. She studied Cultural Arts and Language in Mexico and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish and Child Development. While at Dixie College, she studied art from Del Parson, one of her great art influencers. Another influencer is Rolland Berry, contemporary artist in LA.
